AMHA Programs
Austin Future Stars
Austin Future Stars is a trial Hockey Skating Class which is meant to be an introduction to the sport of hockey for all ages.
This FREE program includes:
- (1) - 60 minute hockey skating lesson
- Full loaner hockey gear including skates
Each person can only register for one session
Location: Chaparral Ice or Ice and Field at The Crossover
**You must arrive 45 minutes before the session to check in, receive gear, and get outfitted**
Texas Rising Stars
Texas Rising Stars is the AMHA's house (recreational) league. There are no tryouts, but players are placed on teams in their appropriate age group. The season consists of 2 practices per week plus games.
Texas Jr Stars
Texas Jr. Stars is the AMHA's travel league. Tryouts occur every summer before the upcoming season. The season consists of 2-3 practices per week, off ice training plus games. Some games are local, while others are throughout Texas (Dallas, San Antonio, Houston). There are usually 2-3 out of state tournaments as well.
Girls Hockey
AMHA is excited that the girls program continues to grow in Austin! We have programs for every skill level and across all ages. Partnered with the Girls Hockey Club of Austin (GHCA) we provide girls with the chance to participate in co-ed play under the AMHA umbrella as well as offering girls only development practices and team opportunities.
