  • The AMHA is excited to announce that this SUNDAY January 31st, at 6pm we will be hosting a Hockey Huddle Zoom call with members of USA Hockey and you're invited! Kenny Rausch, Kristin Wright and Joe Bonnett (ADM Regional Manager for Texas) will be joining AMHA Hockey Director Adam Powell for a "Hockey Huddle". We will "compare notes" about: -Having fun in hockey and in sports - what the research says; -Development Myths; -Cross-training and multi-sport athletes; -Enjoying the present moment/ where your athlete/you are in your journey; -Station-based training practices and why they work; -Momentum of Girls Hockey growth in Austin; -Our successes as a program overall: 450 total players, 100 6u and 8u players and sold out Learn to Play and Learn to Skate classes
